The Placemates Make a Visit to West End Village

Residents from Safe Harbor care home, The Place Up Hanley, Bucknall, recently enjoyed a day trip out to West End Village in Stoke.

They were treated to live entertainment from Jennifer Greene, who has also appeared at Safe Harbor care homes in the past.

Jennifer is a professional vocalist, with experience in performing worldwide. She can cater for a wide audience but sang a variety of older classics ranging from war time songs to 80's pop rock.

Residents enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee from the café while watching the performance, then got in to the spirit of the occasion by dancing with our activity co-ordinator.

West End Village is a retirement village in Stoke city that offers regular events to it's residents and the public.
