Accommodation

At Safe Harbor, our homes can accommodate between 34 and 55 residents. Our rooms mainly comprise of single rooms, each of which is furnished to a high standard. We are also able to accommodate couples in one of our twin rooms. En-suite rooms are also available.

Although rooms come ready furnished, we encourage residents to personalise their room with their own furnishings, decorations and personal belongings.

Social Areas

Each of our homes have at least one large lounge area, which can be used by residents to relax, socialise and/or to join in with daily activities. There are seperate dining areas which can be used at any time of the day. Each home also has numerous private spaces for residents to relax in and to entertain any visitors they may have.

The grounds of all our homes are spacious yet cosy and provide residents and their family and friends with well-maintained gardens with walkways, seating areas and sensory stimulation all year round.

The main communal areas are often used for larger functions and events, such as live music shows, group therapy visits and seasonal events.

Housekeeping

Each home has a team of experienced housekeeping staff who are tasked with keeping the homes spotless.

Each resident's room is cleaned daily. You may be asked to vacate your room whilst it is cleaned. Communal areas, toilets and other areas are cleaned on a regular basis throughout the day.

If you spot any issues, or require any help with cleaning, please do not hesitate to tell any member of staff who will deal with it accordingly.

Personal Laundry

Each home has on-site laundry facilities. Any item of clothing can be laundered as and when required. Personal dry cleaning can be arranged at a small cost. You can contact the activities co-ordinator to can arrange this for you.

In order to ensure that items are kept safe, please ensure all clothes are clearly marked with your name. We have a name labelling machine in the each laundry and so can label clothes for you if you wish.

Bed linen is changed weekly, or more frequently if required. Bed linen, towels and facecloths are all freely provided and laundered on-site.
