An Afternoon of Entertainment at The Place Up Hanley Care Home
5/31/19, 4:42 PMA Safe Harbor care home in Stoke-on-Trent has played host to a singer and entertainer for the afternoon.
The Place Up Hanley care home, Bucknall, was visited by Glyn Jones, a life-long professional singer who plays at care homes and other venues.
Residents enjoyed singing along to their favourite songs and were also able to get up to dance to classic hits by artists such as Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
It's not the first time that Glyn has played a gig in a Safe Harbor care home. He has also been to sister homes across Stoke-on-Trent and in Shropshire and is a firm favourite of residents in all the homes.
Glyn will be back to The Place Up Hanley next month and will also be appearing at Agnes and Arthur care home in Bradeley on Father's Day, 16th June 2019 at 3pm.
