Agnes and Arthur Care Home Host Singer and Entertainer Glyn Jones

A Safe Harbor care home in Stoke-on-Trent has once again been the host to a regular professional singer.
Agnes and Arthur care home, in Bradeley, saw vocalist and member of the band The Conspirators, Glyn Jones, visit for an evening of singing and dancing to classic pop and rock songs of the 50's, 60's and 70's.
Glyn's set included hits from well known artists such as Neil Diamond, The Kinks and The Beatles.
Music can be extremely beneficial to people with dementia. It can aid movement and sociability through dance and singing, as well as help to spark memories through familiar lyrics.
