Agnes and Arthur Care Home Screens a Blockbuster

A Safe Harbor care home was transformed in to a cinema for the evening.

Agnes and Arthur care home was visited by Joe Gardner who took residents on a virtual tour of the Staffordshire moorlands and the City of London.

During the one hour video, residents were able to take a stroll through the Staffordshire countryside, seeing the steam trains of Churnet Valley Railway at Consall Station and the beautiful spring landscapes.

The tour then moved on to London where they were able to take in all the tourist sites without the traffic jams. Stops included The Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace.

Joe provided narrative and meaning as the tour progressed, in between soothing music to go along with the film.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the virtual tour with many saying that they can't wait to go on the next one. Joe will be back to Agnes and Arthur in a few months.
