Merry Christmas Thumb.jpgA flurry of Christmas celebrations have been held across Safe Harbor care homes this year.

Events ranging from fayres to feasts have been taking place throughout late November and December to light up the Christmas period for residents, family, friends and staff.

The Place Up Hanley partied twice in December, with a Festive Dinner & Dance and a Christmas party. Glyn Jones entertained residents at the Dinner & Dance with songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's, while Geoff Salt, on behalf of Dougie Mac, got everyone dancing at the Christmas party.

Agnes and Arthur care home hosted several festive events, including a Cheese & Wine evening. Residents and family were treated to a cheese board selection, which was accompanied by wine and live music from a resident's family. The Agnes and Arthur Christmas party saw Glyn Jones return to Safe Harbor for a second time in as many days.

Santa Claus spread some festive cheer at Cloverfields Care Home's wonderful Christmas Fayre, which helped them to feature in the Whitchurch Herald newspaper.

Trentham Garden Centre kindly donated a Christmas tree to Haversham House as part of this years 100 Years Remembrance celebrations. Later in December, residents partied with Britt and Santa at their annual Christmas Party.

Glyn Jones returned once again for Florence House's Christmas party, along with Santa. Florence house also played host to The Salvation Army Band who played a range of favourite Christmas hymns.

Safe Harbor hopes that you all had a Merry Christmas too, and wish you a happy New Year.
