Glyn Jones Entertains The Place Up Hanley Care Home
9/18/19, 2:50 PMA Safe Harbor care home in Stoke-on-Trent has recently hosted a professional singer to provide entertainment to residents and visitors.
Vocalist Glyn Jones, a long-time member of the band The Conspirators, visited The Place Up Hanley care home, located in Bucknall, to sing a selection of classic pop, rock and country songs.
Glyn sang a variety of well-known hits from the 50's, 60's and 70's such as "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver and "Under The Boardwalk" by The Drifters.
Residents from other Safe Harbor care homes, Agnes and Arthur and Haversham House, also visited for the afternoon to enjoy the entertainment and refreshments.
Safe Harbor care homes host regular live entertainment for residents and everyone is welcome to attend. Glyn is just one of many different artists that regularly appear in the homes across Stoke-on-Trent and Shropshire.
