Lucky to have such great care

19/04/2013

Please find below the story written in to the Sentinel about the care that one of our residents is receiving WITHIN North Staffordshire there are exceptional facilities, created to ensure that the final years of life for the elderly are as secure as possible. Ward 7 at the Harplands Hospital, and here at Florence House, are two such special homes, where staff
perform with a tolerance beyond that of most individuals. My three-month stay at Harplands was exceptional and when a transfer to Florence House was suggested, I was reluctant to leave. For the very high level of care at Harplands to be repeated
was, I considered, impossible, but events here have already proved that to be wrong. Other people demand more from their local authorities, but I have found that the public here in North Staffordshire are prepared to allow time for perfection to grow, and, as a result, those fortunate enough to receive this hospitality spend their final years in comfort.
