The Place Up Hanley Brews Up for a Tea Tasting Session
2/9/19, 6:36 PMA Safe Harbor care home in Stoke-on-Trent has hosted a tea tasting session for residents.
The Cheshire Tea Company visited The Place Up Hanley, Bucknall, and took over the café for the afternoon to provide free samples and tasters to residents of the home.
The tea retailer is based in Macclesfield and offers a select range of flavoured and traditional teas. Several of their teas have won accolades at the Great Taste Awards, widely acknowledged as the most respected food accreditation scheme for artisan and speciality food producers.
Sue from Cheshire Tea Company brought along an array of samples for residents to try, such as Mint Chocolate, Cherry Sencha and Apple Spiced.
Residents were able to try a variety of teas and choose the ones they liked best. Their favourite teas have been stocked in the café for everyone to enjoy.
Beata, our catering manager, provided home made cookies and scones to go with the tea.
