Safe Harbor Residents Go to Town for a Shopping Spree

Residents from two Safe Harbor care homes in Stoke-on-Trent have been out on a shopping trip this week.

The Place Up Hanley and Agnes and Arthur care homes met up in the city centre of Hanley.

Activity coordinators helped to guide residents around the shops where they checked out the latest fashion in Primark and tried out the perfume samples in Boots.

After they had got everything they needed, they all dropped in to a local café, Harley's, for a lovely home-cooked meal and refreshments.

Residents often get to head out for trips to the shops and other days out  each month.
