UK Coffee Week Tasting Day Perks Up Agnes and Arthur

Safe Harbor residents have been celebrating UK Coffee Week with a coffee tasting session in one of their homes.

Agnes and Arthur care home, Bradeley, hosted the tasting session on Monday afternoon. Residents were able to choose from a variety of coffee types including cappuccino, mocha and caramel flavoured coffee.

All drinks were served up with freshly made coffee cake, baked especially by the excellent kitchen staff.

UK Coffee Week is a national celebration of coffee, running from 29th April - 5th May 2019. The event helps to raise money for Project Waterfall, a charity set up to bring clean water, education and sanitation to developing communities around the world.

Since 2011, the initiative has raised over £1 million and bought clean drinking water to over 37,000 people across 7 countries.
